The scholarship program at Pacific Oaks has been designed to reflect our history, values, and educational philosophy. All scholarships are available to online and on-ground students. See below for descriptions of our scholarships and to submit a scholarship application. You will be prompted to indicate which scholarships you are interested in and after submission, a financial aid officer will contact you with further instructions. Apply early as applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and our ability to distribute scholarships for spring is contingent upon funds available. $500 - $1,000
The President’s Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a commitment to Pacific Oaks College’s mission. Each student will be considered for the President’s Scholarship through the admissions application process. Qualified full-time students receive $1,000 at the beginning of the first two semesters and qualified halftime students receive $500 at the beginning of the first two semesters. During the final semester of the program full-time recipients will receive a final installment of $1,000 and halftime recipients will receive a final installment of $500. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be continuously enrolled throughout their program of study in order to be eligible.
$1,500 - $3,000
The Educator’s Scholarship is awarded to new students in the School of Education, specifically master’s degree seeking students holding a teacher’s license, or bachelor’s-completion students seeking a teaching credential. Qualified full-time students will receive $1,500 per semester for the first two semesters of their program and qualified half-time students receive $750 per semester for the first two semesters of their program. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be continuously enrolled in their program throughout the first two semesters in order to maintain eligibility.

Community Involvement Scholarship
The Community Involvement Scholarship is awarded to master's degree seeking students who have provided outstanding service to their community. Applicants must submit an 800-1000 word essay that explains their experience and personal commitment to their community, demonstrating support for Pacific Oaks College’s mission. Essays will be reviewed by a committee. The Community Involvement Scholarship recipients will receive a $2,000 scholarship that will be divided equally between the first and second semesters of enrollment. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be continuously enrolled as a full time student in order to be eligible. Submit your essay to email@example.com.
International Student Scholarship
The International Student Scholarship is awarded to international students (non-U.S. Citizens, non-U.S. Permanent Residents) who demonstrate both the potential to add cultural and geographic diversity to the classroom and the ability to spread the mission of Pacific Oaks College globally. Qualified applicants must submit a 500-800 word essay describing the journey that led them to Pacific Oaks, referencing obstacles encountered, how they were overcome, and events that led them to choose their projected career path and degree program at Pacific Oaks. The essay should explain how the applicant plans to incorporate their life experiences into their classroom contributions at Pacific Oaks College, and how they plan to utilize their future degree to address the current and future needs of their home country. Awardees will receive a $5,000 scholarship that will be divided equally between their first two semesters (for online students, between their first 4 sessions) and applied towards tuition. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be continuously enrolled as a full-time, degree-seeking student to be eligible. To be considered, scholarship applicants must have already submitted an admissions application to Pacific Oaks College. Academic Partner Scholarship
The Academic Partner Scholarship is awarded to bachelor's degree seeking students who are transferring to Pacific Oaks from a designated partner institution (Please check with your admissions counselor for a current list.) Transfer counselors at these colleges with articulations agreements may award a $1,000 scholarship to transfer students that they refer to Pacific Oaks College. Academic Partner Scholarship recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship that will be divided equally between the first and second semesters of enrollment. Each student may receive a maximum of one Academic Partner Scholarship. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be continuously enrolled as a full time student in order to be eligible.
The Legacy Scholarship is awarded to students who have an immediate family member (parent, grandparent or sibling) who is either currently enrolled or is a graduate of Pacific Oaks College. Legacy Scholarship recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship divided equally between the first and second semesters of enrollment. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be continuously enrolled as a full time student in order to be eligible.
