To make our programs accessible to even more students, Pacific Oaks College teaches classes at a number of locations throughout Southern California, and can even come to you in certain instances. Based upon a “cohort model,” students at these locations journey through their programs and courses as a cohesive group (known as a cohort) and emerge with enduring, supportive, professional networks.
- Classes typically meet just one or two times per week (generally weeknights or weekends).
- Students may have the option to take a portion of their coursework online.
- Year-round start terms; once we have a minimum number of students, we begin classes at the next start term.
- Students have access to the same support services (in person or by email/phone) as our Pasadena-based students.
We offer a number of instructional site locations--from Sacramento to Santa Cruz and beyond—but we are happy to arrange a new cohort in communities within 25 miles of Pasadena, given a minimum number of students in the same program. For example, we can teach an entire group of teachers at a school district, or employees at an early childhood center—to enable those individuals to complete their bachelor’s or master’s degrees in a convenient and cohesive fashion.
