San Jose Campus

This Northern California location serves to deepen your learning experience by providing extensive networking, fieldwork, and professional opportunities. Pacific Oaks maintains relationships with clinics and agencies throughout NorCal where you will be able gain experience working in the surrounding communities.

Often referred to as the “Capital of Silicon Valley,” San Jose is a vibrant, diverse city that serves as home to such high-tech companies as Google, Apple, PayPal, eBay, and Cisco Systems. In addition, this city is home to a significant number of nonprofits—such as Sacred Heart Community Service, Resource Area For Teaching (RAFT), Heritage Home, The Salvation Army, and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Nourished by Surrounding Communities

Our San Jose campus offers programs that are fueled by the needs of the surrounding community—including Bachelor's and Master's in Human Development, Master’s in Education and Marriage in Family Therapy in addition to teaching credentialing programs.

Students are exposed to a vibrant, diverse city. Learning to work in a community that is heavily influenced by Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and Asian cultures, they build a dynamic worldview that can be an asset in nearly any career.

With an abundance of various organizations, San Jose presents many possibilities for graduates who wish to build their careers by applying what they’ve learned in real-world situations at social service, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations.

Welcome from the Campus Dean

Welcome to the San Jose Campus!

I am delighted to be able to welcome you to our campus. Pacific Oaks College has had a presence here in Northern California since 1982, offering educational programs from Chico to Salinas. Establishing a branch campus in San Jose is a significant milestone in the on-going growth and development of Pacific Oaks. With this designation we are now able to share the mission, vision, and reputation of the unique quality and pedagogy of our programs.

I am very excited to have joined Pacific Oaks at this time of such positive events and welcome the opportunity to help grow this new campus!
