- It is with great excitement that I write to you to announce my arrival to Pasadena and the campus of Pacific Oaks. I visited the college over the weekend and met with students and faculty in their classes, a wonderful experience. With each passing day, I become more impressed with this institution’s strong heritage, its mission of social justice, and the eagerness of the Trustees, faculty, alumni, and students, to position the college and children’s school toward a prosperous future.
- An academic, educator, administrator, father, and husband, Dr. Parnia brings to Pacific Oaks more than 30 years of experience in higher education, first as a college professor at the University of Hartford and then as a dean and administrator at Cambridge College in Cambridge, Mass.
- It is with profound enthusiasm that I write to share the news that our half-year search to find the next president of Pacific Oaks College & Children’s School has reached a conclusion. I am pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees this week approved the appointment of Dr. Ezat Parnia as our institution’s new leader.
- Professor Olga Winbush of the School of Human Development and Family Studies traveled to New England during the summer break to present at the Institute on Descriptive Inquiry conference
- Program areas in Teacher Education, Special Education, and Education Leadership to Build on College’s Half-Century Legacy as a Nationally Recognized Institution for Early Childhood Education

- 2012 Commencement Date Set
Pacific Oaks’ 2012 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 12th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium at 11 a.m.
