Pacific Oaks College has authority to operate in the State of California by way of an exemption granted by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education pursuant to California Education Code section 94874(i).


Pacific Oaks College is registered with the Maryland Higher Education Commission through June 30, 2013 to enroll Maryland students in fully online distance education programs listed below.  The Commission’s registration of the fully online programs is not an authorization of the institution to operate in Maryland or an approval or endorsement of the institution’s programs.

New Mexico

The New Mexico Higher Education Department determined that Pacific Oaks College qualifies to be exempt from regulation based on the fact that the institution is regionally accredited. Students who are residents of New Mexico and wish to make a complaint about the institution should follow the process outlined here.

The Oregon Office of Degree Authorization granted approval to Pacific Oaks College to offer online degree programs and courses for college credit to students in Oregon. This approval is valid until June 30, 2014 for online programs only.

Program-Specific Approvals:
