Dr. Patricia A. Breen is the current President of Pacific Oaks College.
Pacific Oaks College & Children’s School (POC) celebrated the inauguration of its 10th president, Dr. Patricia A. Breen, in a special ceremony held Oct. 2 at Pasadena’s historic Castle Green. Pacific Oaks Board of Trustees, faculty, teachers, staff, and students were joined by Pasadena Mayor Terry Tornek; Viola Van, a field representative from Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Office; and dignitaries from area colleges and universities. In her welcoming remarks, Board Chair Dorothy Farris reflected on Pacific Oaks’ rich history while expressing her gratitude for Dr. Breen and the tireless efforts she has made throughout this transition. “You are making personal sacrifices so that Pacific Oaks can continue to live out the vision of its founders; a vision that a transformative education will do more than change one individual—it will change our world.”
Board of Trustees
Pacific Oaks College is governed by a 11-member Board of Trustees, which meets three times a year and oversees policy decisions for areas that include academic affairs, institutional advancement, student services, and business and financial affairs.
Reporting directly to the President and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Pacific Oaks College are members of the Cabinet.
