Classes from 1990s

Valerie Anne (Williams) Bishop '90, MSTC '96 of Northridge, California teaches at San Rafael Elementary School. She works and supervises many Pacific Oaks graduates at her school. Currently, her classroom assistant is enrolled at Pacific Oaks. She is proud of the kinships fostered by her alma mater.

Jack Gregory Bowman MA '97 of Altadena, California is a licensed psychotherapist in the Los Angeles area. He loved his time at Pacific Oaks and learned a great deal. His work in the mental health field since 1984, as well as his own bizarre life experiences, figure prominently in his poetry, art, songs and prose. He has been a published poet since 1991. Elmida Baghdaserians '97 of Montrose, California is the Associate Professor of Child Development at Los Angeles Valley College. She is working on the final stages of her dissertation focusing on how culture affects parenting styles, specifically in the Anglo-American and Armenian-American families. After she graduated from Pacific Oaks, she worked in a domestic violence shelter and presented at numerous conference and workshop training. She has been married for two years to Sevada Chamras, professor of Organic Chemistry. They have an 11th month old baby girl named, Lillian. You can contact her at baghdaes@lavc.edu.
