Hello Valued PO Students,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those students who attended our first Financial Aid (FA) information session. This will certainly not be the last as it is my intention to hold these sessions at least twice a year, in the fall and again in the spring. The session covered a variety of topics to include FA Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and Disbursement policies. The session was delivered in a timeline fashion that spanned from the way things were through the future vision of the FA office and Pacific Oaks College. The topics chosen for review were primarily based on the collective voice of our student body and the necessity and affects of recent changes. Those in attendance were given the opportunity to direct their questions to the Financial Aid Director as they sought clarification of the many topics reviewed. The goal of the FA information session was to educate and make available to students information necessary to understanding and managing their financial aid. For those in attendance I believe we accomplished this goal. Provided with the link below, for those unable to attend is the slide presentation used during the session.
