MA and California Teaching Credential

At Pacific Oaks College we belive in the creative process of becoming a teacher.  The Teacher Education/Credential Programs (TEP) are designed to prepare our students as public or non-public school teachers.  Our programs are designed to respond effectively to the diverse cultural and linguistic perspectives and needs of our increasingly heterogeneous population.

The M.A. in Human Development at Pacific Oaks can be earned in combination withe the California Preliminary Multiple Subject English Learner (MSEL) Credential and the Preliminary Education Specialist Credential (ESC) in Mild to Moderate disabilities.  The combined program is a 48-unit program which can take approximately two to three years to complete part-time.
