B.A. Specialization: Art Education
The Human Development specialization in Art Education is designed for teachers who wish to concentrate on the language of art and creativity. The graduate will be equipped to teach art to students; design and implement culturally diverse developmental curriculum; and transmit the essential spirit of art as a living form. An arts background is required.
Specialization Admissions Requirements:
- Comprehensive written description of arts background
- Submission of portfolio
- Demonstration of art activity with children
- Interview with advisor
Acceptance to the specialization is determined by the faculty advisor, Larry Garf, M.A.
