About Self-Paced Programs

Through the self-paced structure, a student can work with an advisor to design a timeline of classes that best suits life context.  Most students enroll part-time and extend their program over several years.  Students who plan on receiving financial aid must maintain a minimum number of units each semester: 6 units for undergraduates and 4 units for graduate level programs.

There are self-paced programs in Human Development offered through Distance Learning/Online, Oakland, and Pasadena.  There is a self-paced Marriage and Family Therapy program in Pasadena.
