Undergraduate Admissions

Pacific Oaks offers upper division courses at the undergraduate level leading to a B.A. degree in Human Development. B.A. degree programs offered:  

B.A. in Human Development  |  Combined B.A/Teaching Credential

There are two admissions options:

  • Traditional Admissions 
    All undergraduate students at Pacific Oaks are transfer students, and most are the first students from their families to seek higher education. Read about the requirements to transfer now and begin your Pacific Oaks B.A. degree.
  • Admission by Life/Work Experience (ABLE)The ABLE option (Admission by Life/Work Experience) provides an opportunity for students to document, through presentations and papers, up to 30 units of college credit based on life/work experiences.  If you are at least 30 years old and have working or volunteering in human services or a related field, read about how ABLE could give you a leg up on your education.
