Online Career Resource Links
This is not a comprehensive list!
www.monster.com - I recommend this website for its career advice section which includes info on resume, cover letter, interview and salary negotiation. The job search engine is not the best, but always good to check periodically.
www.latimes.com / www.careerbuilder.com - By going to latimes.com and clicking on "jobs", you will be automatically connected with careerbuilder.com. I like doing this because you will get both careerbuilder and the newspaper ads. Again, not the best job source, but better than monster. This site has a career advice section as well, but watch out for the fee for service links.
www.edjoin.org - Great source for teaching jobs in California.
www.socialservice.com - Good for Human Development and MFT.
www.idealist.org - Interesting website for non-profit jobs. Job search engine can be a little random, but worth a look.
www.craigslist.org - Great website for local jobs, majority are from private schools and organizations. Job postings can be a little random as well, but good to check regularly.
Internet Job Search Tip: When you find a job posting that you like, try going to the actual company/organization website to check out what other positions they may have available.
