Part-time for your 2-year-old

Our part-time program for 2-year-olds is offered Monday through Thursday for 2 ^1/2 hours a day, either in a morning or an afternoon session.   A variety of activities are planned, although emphasis is placed on "emergent" curriculum, which arises out of the interactions between children, adults and materials.

We are committed to an anti-bias curriculum and therefore provide an environment which reflects appreciation for diversity and non-stereotypic images and roles. The program includes weekly parent and caregiver meetings which address issues important to families such as separation, autonomy, self help skills, limit setting, sleep patterns, language development and socialization. Your two-year-old will be encouraged to begin making decisions and solving her/his problems. Activities include sand & water play, art, music, movement; block building, story telling and dramatic play.
