Full-time for your 3 and 4-year-old

Our full-day childcare program is open 12 months a year from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in California House. Our program is designed to meet the complex needs of working families while providing a comfortable and nurturing environement for young children.  At Pacific Oaks, we consider childcare to be an extension of the child's home and work toward building partnerships with parents.  The curriculum is identical to our preschool program and includes block building, science investigation, dramatic play, arts and crafts, music, story telling, field trips and rigorous outdoor activities.  Our participatory approach to caregiving tasks such as eating, napping and clothes changing are incorporated into the daily life of the program.

La Tierra Yard is a safe and comfortable environment where your three and four year-old will develop social and emotional competence. Children develop problem solving and conflict resolution skills as they participate in a broader community outside their home.  Social development is a central focus of our program, therefore; children learn how to be a friend, to express empathy and compassion and to interact comfortably with people different from themselves.
