Aki Ohseki is originally from New York and earned her doctorate in Early Childhood Education from Columbia University.  Most of her 11 years of teaching in early childhood classrooms was spent in a progressive public school in the Lower East Side of New York City.  Aki joined the core faculty in the Teacher Education Program in the summer of 2004.

Presented A Look at Peer Friendship in the Context of Change as part of a symposium, Promoting Continuity in Early Care and Education for Young Children and Families. Spring 2001, AERA Annual Meeting, New Orleans, LA.
