On February 26, 2015, Dr. Bree Davis, academic coordinator and core faculty member at Pacific Oaks College, received a commendation from the County of Los Angeles. Michael D. Antonovich’s Office for “… dedicated service to the affairs of the community and for the civic pride demonstrated by numerous contributions for the benefit of all the citizens of Los Angeles County.”

This award was presented to Dr. Davis by the NAACP Altadena Branch where she participated in a panel discussion titled “The Dialogue: the state of black male and female relationships.”
