Biography

Dr. Boston (she/her) is a passionate and innovative educator and clinician with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She is deeply committed to promoting equity and inclusivity in both academic and therapeutic settings. Her teaching philosophy is centered on three core principles: equity, innovation, and humility, fostering transformative learning experiences that prioritize social justice in mental health.

A proud alumna of Spelman College, where she earned her Bachelor's degree, Dr. Boston went on to complete a Master's in Psychology at Texas Southern University before obtaining her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Her extensive experience in both academic and clinical environments has equipped her to be a strong advocate for inclusivity, diversity, and mental health. As someone who considers herself bi-coastal, Dr. Boston draws from a broad range of regional experiences, enriching her approach to education and counseling. She is committed to creating equitable spaces where individuals can thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Dr. Boston is a forward-thinking social change agent who drives innovation in counseling practices and teaching methodologies, while maintaining a strong sense of humility and a deep dedication to the well-being of her students, clients, and communities.
