As part of our ongoing efforts to share educational opportunities, Pacific Oaks College is proud to work with many community, educational, and organizational partners that enable them to bring professional development opportunities to their staff, students, and colleagues.
We strive to partner with organizations (be they non-profit, business, or academic) that share our core values of respect, diversity, social justice, and inclusion. We believe in partnerships that are win-win-win relationships -- collaborations that support and enhance both organizations as well as the community at large.
Each partnership is tailored to the needs of the organization to build upon their strengths and help them achieve their desired outcomes. And each partnership is a two-way street, with each entity working together to share resources and expertise.
Below is a sample of our current partnerships. Please contact us to learn more about Pacific Oaks and to discuss what a partnership could look like for your organization.
For Pasadena and Southern California partnership opportunities, please contact Amin Maghsoodi, Director of Admissions & Outreach
For San Jose and Northern California opportunities, please contact Christan Maxwell, Director of Admissions, San Jose Campus.
Community and Organizational Partners
California Head Start Association
The California Head Start Association is the unified voice providing leadership and advocacy for the Head Start community. The Association is an important strategic partner representing Head Start interests in California and the nation.
CAPSES is comprised of nonpublic schools, agencies, organizations, and individuals who specialize in the delivery of private special education school services. Our primary mission is to maximize the potential of individuals with disabilities by advocating for them in public policy, and promoting high quality instruction, guidance, therapy and staff development. CAPSES is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the leadership role of the private sector in offering alternative quality services to individuals with disabilities. By providing the highest quality instruction, therapy and guidance and advocacy to their clients, CAPSES members strive to help special education students maximize their potential and lead independent and dignified lives. We are able to build that potential by working together to ensure appropriate services to all eligible students and their families.
