As part of our ongoing efforts to share educational opportunities, Pacific Oaks College is proud to work with many community, educational, and organizational partners that enable them to bring professional development opportunities to their staff, students, and colleagues.
We strive to partner with organizations (be they non-profit, business, or academic) that share our core values of respect, diversity, social justice, and inclusion. We believe in partnerships that are win-win-win relationships — collaborations that support and enhance both organizations as well as the community at large.
Each partnership is tailored to the needs of the organization to build upon their strengths and help them achieve their desired outcomes. And each partnership is a two-way street, with each entity working together to share resources and expertise.
Below is a sample of our current partnerships. Please contact us to learn more about Pacific Oaks and to discuss what a partnership could look like for your organization.
For Pasadena and Southern California partnership opportunities, please contact Wendy Osborn, Director of Admissions Outreach & Off-Site Development.
For San Jose and Northern California opportunities, please contact Christan Maxwell, Director of Admissions, San Jose Campus.
Community and Organizational Partners
YWCA-Greater Los Angeles
YWCA Greater Los Angeles (GLA) is a non-profit organization, established in 1894 as a women’s membership movement, built on the mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. Today, their four signature programs include Child Development & Infant Learning Centers; Workforce Development; Sexual Assault Crisis Services; and Senior Engagement Services. As a YWCA, they advocate for justice and dignity for all people with the goal of transforming lives, building individuals and family self-reliance, and ultimately, strengthening the community of Los Angeles. As partners with Pacific Oaks College, YWCA GLA employees are eligible for a Partnership Tuition Rate for any degree program either on campus or online. YWCA GLA employees should consult their Human Resources department for further information on how to participate in this special opportunity.
