In my role as an adjunct professor at Pacific Oaks, I bring my expertise as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with a background in working across various outpatient settings, including community-based programs, intense outpatient substance abuse programs, community mental health, and private practice. Prior to my clinical work, I also gained experience as a behavior interventionist.
Aside from my responsibilities in private practice, I am currently undergoing training in psychological assessments through an internship. Additionally, I am pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, with the aspiration of specializing in conducting assessments and becoming a licensed psychologist.
I am grateful for the support and mentorship I've received from my own professors, and I am committed to providing similar guidance and empowerment to my own students. As a first-generation college student, I deeply empathize with the challenges that many students face, and I am dedicated to supporting and empowering them throughout their academic journeys. My aim is to equip students with practical, real-world skills and to advocate for their needs, ensuring they have the tools and support necessary to thrive.
