Director of Field Education, BSW Program
Mr. Sean Taitt joins Pacific Oaks College as the new Director of Field Education for the BSW Program. Known for his unwavering commitment to nurturing the growth of those around him, Mr. Taitt comes to us with a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting future generations through higher education. Over the past 12 years, he made a significant impact at the University of Southern California as the co-creator and program director of a successful literacy-based initiative as well as two community focused programs.
Mr. Taitt's dedication to guiding individuals toward fulfilling career paths is matched by his innovative spirit. He authored his first children's book, Heart Surgery, and collaborated with a former Statistics Instructor to explore how youth access resources through their cell phones. Additionally, Mr. Taitt has facilitated USC's Community Immersion program and serves as an American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and AED Instructor and Trainer.
With his extensive background and heartfelt approach, Mr. Taitt is poised to make a remarkable difference in our BSW Program, helping students thrive and making a lasting impact on the field of social work.
