Valerie Pacheco is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish, and M.A. in Counseling with an emphasis in community mental health from Loyola Marymount University. Valerie continues to embody her alma mater's mission of the education of the whole person, service of faith, and the promotion of justice by advocating for the Latinx community. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings including schools, community-based organizations, and in private practice. Valerie continues providing services in various settings to bilingual and Spanish monolingual individuals throughout Sonoma County and now presently in Los Angeles County. Through an initiative of the non-profit Humanidad Therapy and Education, Ms. Pacheco started teaching in different capacities with the Latinx Community. Ms. Pacheco is excited to share her 10 plus years of experience in the field more specifically in the area of trauma.
