Acorn Opac (Library Catalog)
Pacific Oaks library catalog, including theses, books, periodicals, digital resources and media. To place holds on library materials, call or e-mail the library with the title and call number of the book, we’ll either put it on the hold shelf for you, or put a hold on the checked out material so you’ll automatically be the next borrower.
The mission of our library is to develop and augment a highly focused research collection comprised of digital and print holdings covering the social sciences, with particular emphasis on materials which support the College’s degree programs in Teacher Education, Marital & Family Therapy, and Human Development. Our friendly, skilled staff is dedicated to providing students, faculty and guests with access to the information they need as well as instruction in navigating the databases in order to be able to do the research necessary to become effective advocates for children and families.
Research consultations are available by appointment. E-mail library@pacificoaks.edu with your topic and the best days and times for you to meet with the librarian. Plan to spend an hour either at home on your computer on the phone with the librarian or at the library with her.
