Children’s School

For 80 years, Pacific Oaks Children’s School has been a leader in early childhood education, internationally recognized for its progressive philosophy and pioneering work in anti bias education, emergent curriculum, and peaceful conflict resolution. Many students in undergraduate, graduate, and teacher credentialing programs at Pacific Oaks College have the invaluable opportunity to volunteer or complete part of their training at the children’s school.

The children’s school offers both half-day morning and full-day programs, maintains low teacher-to-student ratios, and is proud of our dedicated team of experienced educators. Our expansive, tree-shaded campus features original Craftsman homes, spacious play yards, an art studio, and a welcoming, neighborly atmosphere— truly an exceptional and ideal setting for exploration and learning.

Our inclusive community includes approximately 150 families and 40 teachers and staff, all working together in an environment rooted in acceptance and mutual respect. Every member of our community plays a vital role in sustaining our collaborative spirit, and parents are warmly encouraged to actively participate in the life of the school.
