Chaz Dennis is a student of Pacific Oaks Marriage and Family Therapy: African-American Studies program. Identifying closely with the African-American community, she reflected on how her degree would make it possible for her to help a population that is traditionally underserved. When she talked about her time at Pacific Oaks, she was particularly moved by being accepted as family by the faculty as well as her fellow students.
Eshele Williams is a graduate of the M.A. Marriage Family and Child Counseling program. She currently works as a Therapist/Consultant who specializes in foster care and adoption. In addition to providing consultation to various organizations, Eshele trains teams on how to provide care for children and families involved in the foster care and adoption system.
Cheryl Greer-Jarman is a core faculty member of the School of Human Development & Family Studies. Cheryl is the longest serving member of the Pacific Oaks community. To her, Pacific Oaks is a community-based institution and the varied experiences of students are core in the class and utilized as part of the curriculum.
Patricia A. Breen is the President of Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School—bringing more than 30 years of experience in higher education. To her, the goal of Pacific Oaks is to help students become learners, those who understand themselves and remain engaged beyond the classroom.
