Pacific Oaks College is proud to announce that it has received a reaffirmation of accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) for a period of 10 years, the maximum term granted. This reaffirmation reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to excellence in higher education.
“We ae thrilled to receive this recognition from WSCUC,” said Dr. Breeda McGrath, president of Pacific Oaks College & Children’s School. “This 10-year reaffirmation is a testament to our dedication to academic quality and our commitment to serving our students and community. It reflects the hard work and unwavering dedication of our entire team.”
The WSCUC Commission commended Pacific Oaks for several achievements, including its strong mission rooted in social justice, effective student support systems and financial stability. The Commission also acknowledged the college’s innovative use of IT resources and its collaborative culture. Notably, WSCUC has not scheduled any interim visits before the next reaffirmation review in 2034.
